Program Overview
In response to the burgeoning data regarding patient risk assessment and the selection of therapies, the NCCN has brought together members of the NCCN Colon Cancer Guidelines Panel to discuss the process for development of the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology™. The program will focus on the evolving data in medical and surgical management of metastatic colon cancer and their application in the current NCCN guidelines, selection of adjuvant and systemic therapy for advanced disease, and sequencing of agents in second- and third-line therapy.

Educational Objectives
Following this activity, participants should be able to:

Discuss recent updates made to the NCCN Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology™ Colon Cancer

List current options for metastatic disease

Describe the use of adjuvant therapy

Provide the rationale for sequencing of systemic therapy

Differentiate between management strategies for patients with good versus poor performance status

Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the needs of physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals who manage patients with cancer.
